Stephanie Montes, LMT, LE
Stephanie brings with her over 12 years of massage therapy experience. After a car accident Stephanie received many forms of rehabilitation and felt an instant interest and connection to massage and the many benefits she and others received from this type of therapy. She felt that she had found her calling, and with an educational background and work history in Social Services and Health Care Administrative Practices she decided on a career change.
A graduate of the Blue Sky School of Massage, she was privileged to an education focused in both medical and relaxation techniques. She spent most of her career in the medical field working at hospitals, rehab facilities, and chiropractic offices. She spent five years working closely with the Cancer care Center providing therapy for patients and their families. Another three years working with parents and their children, providing instruction on infant massage as well as teaching parents massage techniques to help their children with conditions such as ADHD/ADD, Bipolar syndrome and Autism. Stephanie is certified and offers the following modalities: Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, Prenatal, Sports, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, Acupressure, Cranio-Sacral, Lymphatic, Passive Range of Motion Stretching, and Swedish relaxation massage.
Stephanie also spent some time sharing the experience and knowledge she has gained over the years as an instructor in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology.
